Welcome! Tawow!
I am a Manual Osteopathic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist, and the owner of OsteoYXE. OsteoYXE is a safe and
welcoming space for everyone.
I grew up in Saskatchewan’s North West. I’ve lived in Saskatoon many years, and now I offer clinical treatments in the heart
of the downtown district.
I do very good work, and I’m really proud of it. I so value people that are willing to care for their bodies, and I love it when they
allow a treatment to work for them!
I practice Manual Osteopathic Therapy, which is beautiful stuff. It involves working with the body’s structure, and tissues. It is
gentle and precise and uses a “whole person” approach to healing people. It is a very efficient and practical way to heal body ailments.
My patients trust my twenty-two years of clinical training and practical experience with people and their bodies - relieving pain,
healing injuries, rebalancing hips and backs and many other ailments.
I’m committed to learning, and advancing my practice. I completed a Manual Osteopathic Therapy Diploma program on
August 2020. I am a certified Manual Osteopathic Therapist (MOT) and a member of Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapy Association (CMMOTA). This powerful method of healing invented by Dr. A. Still in the 1870s after studying western medicine, and
bone setting with the Shawnee People in the United States.
I am also a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), and fully trained in Craniosacral therapy and Myofascial Release therapy.
Osteopathic treatment is administered without oil, and often the client remains clothed. This therapy can include myofascial, cranial-sacral and visceral manipulation to complete a treatment.
Most medical insurance companies cover Osteo YXE treatments through osteopathy and RMT categories.
Osteopathy
A Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT) treatment approaches the body as a whole. Working with bones and tissues, it trusts the body’s own ability to heal. Gentle manipulations of muscles and joints, using pressure and stretching, balances the body’s
overall function. This helps a wide variety of ailments and injuries.
Craniosacral
Craniosacral Therapy is an effective and relaxing approach to healing through touch. Suitable for all ages, from newborn to elderly, it directly supports the body’s ability to regenerate using the natural developmental forces at work in us since before we were born.
Craniosacral helps the following: depression; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); tension or stress-related problems such
as digestion, sleep and concentration; ear infections, tinnitus, and vertigo; learning difficulties; ADHD; living with autism
spectrum disorders and developmental delays; healing muscular/ joint pain or injury and brain and spinal cord
injuries/impairments.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a very effective and gentle massage technique that addresses many issues. A hands-on
technique, it uses sustained pressure on the skin to relieve pain and break systemic patterns that cause dysfunction in the
body.
Surgeries, trauma and inflammatory responses create myofascial tension. MFR is a surprisingly effective massage technique
for those who have struggled with years of pain and with no known positive outcome with other health care providers.
Myofascial Release is a gentle but effective way to manually provide pain relief for a variety of physical issues, including headaches, joint and back pain, and surgery recovery.
Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy (RMT) treatments. RMT improves circulation, relieves stress, and helps the body
balance itself naturally. The time includes an assessment and techniques specifically for your needs.
